                       Johanna Roberts Scholarship Fund Recipient 

 

The first recipient of the Johanna Roberts Scholarship Fund at BectonRegionalHigh School for the Class of 2010 is Alyssa M. Shaw from East Rutherford. She is a very deserving young woman, on the National Honor Society and she will be attending Pratt in New York in the fall pursuing art as her major. Johanna’s Journey continues and Johanna continues to help others through this scholarship!!!

                                     Last Call for Our Giving Tree!!!

I will be submitting the next batch of leaves within the next month. Anyone that wishes to submit an order for a leaf for any life event, please do so. The order form will be in the July/August Newsletter!  Thanks to those who have placed their orders a while ago and have been waiting. There is a minimum required for ordering, so after this order it maybe a long time again before another order is placed!!!  So calling all leaves!!!!  - Lynn Dixon

Support Our Troops!!!!

 

It’s that time again. We need any updates to names of returning or newly deployed or enlisted and their addresses abroad. The deacons would like to send packages and cards to them. We do not have an updated list to do so!!!  The form will be in the July/August Newsletter to update.

The deacons send out cards to people for all occasions. There are cards in the back of the sanctuary if you know of someone that can use some cheer, just fill it out and drop it in the collection plate and we will take care of the rest!!!!

Church Newsletter

The Post Office has closed the Rutherford BMEU.  We are not going to South Hackensack to mail our monthly Newsletters, Statements and Special Letters.  We would like to ask your patience as we are learning that mailings out of South Hackensack BMEU are taking much longer for our members to receive. 

Copies of the Newsletters are in the back of the church.
